I haven't been to LC's in 7 or 8 years, but it was my favorite when I lived on the MO side.
As far as Oklahoma Joes goes, I haven't noticed any sort of fall-off in quality there. I don't generally go for their burnt ends, though. I'm a fan of the Hogamaniac and Cowboy dinner platters. Sausage, Ribs and either Pulled Pork or Brisket, with 2 sides. They're the dinner special on friday and saturday nights, although you can order them anytime (they don't appear on the menu).
Still my favorite fries in town. And I get their chicken gumbo every time I go. I don't usually eat beans so I don't really have an opinion there.
However, the only time I get to go there is on my birthday next month. I used to eat there once every 1-2 weeks, but I've (so far) managed not to dine out (anywhere) in 2013, and expect that trend to continue for the remainder of the year.
