I was on the Geno bandwagon, too. But I knew as far back as January that it wasn't going to happen, and while I was disappointed we chose not to go that way, he stopped being a relevant topic for
this team at the end of April, once he became a Jet. Now he has absolutely no bearing on how the Chiefs offense is executing now. He's certainly not relevant to this discussion in any way.
Speaking just for myself, I don't think I've even mentioned him in a thread on my own volition in weeks, if not months. I will respond if he's brought into a discussion, and I will continue to keep a curious eye on his progress, but to be honest I don't even think about the guy unless somebody else brings him up.
I'm sure my perception is biased, but from where I'm sitting it sure seems like the anti-Geno people bring him up a
LOT more than any of his fans on the site do. It's like they can't let a sleeping dog lie. Just random interjections in the middle of conversations that have nothing to do with him. With some obvious exceptions (the geno vs alex thread, etc. - I have those ignored, so I don't know what's going on there, I'm just talking in general).
I wish they'd just let it go, to be honest.
