Tharpe is a pure point guard who loves to get others involved. If he is scoring it is going to the rim because his jumper is still a work in progress. Tharpe is a nifty ball handler who has it on a string, and then is one of the best passers in the class. He sees the floor well and just has a knack for finding the open guy. Now he does try to force things a little too often, but he still can really set up his teammates.

Biography:

Poised. Smart. High basketball IQ. Does a terrific job for a young player controlling the tempo and getting his teammates involved. Needs to get stronger, but that will come with time.
