I'm not sure Matt Jones is/was our best offensive player. Kelvin Taylor is a stud. The issue is our OL has played like garbage.
Losing Dominique Easley hurt. He was playing outstanding and was definitely one of the best DL-men in the country. Also the leader of that group. Our D is still nails and the secondary is stout, but we are a little weak at LB and haven't produced much pass rush.

You're still rolling out a ton of talent. There's just reasons to believe that a bunch of college kids from Florida who know they don't have a realistic shot at having a successful (by their own standards) season might not be terribly fired up about playing some team from Missouri in 40 something degree weather.
On paper, this game comes down to the slimmest of margins. Any edge could be the difference.
