It'll be pretty easy for the major video providers out there to switch to HTML5, but it's gonna be a while before all of the other Flash apps out there convert. Hell, the CP arcade system has thousands of games available, all of which are in Flash. It's taken years for that library to be built up - it's not just going to go away overnight.
Of course, many people don't play those types of games and wouldn't care. It still seems like an odd move when all it would take would be one minor software change to make it work.
