Try looking at it from the outside. KC has been the picture of suck for a very long time. Last year you had a mediocre record against a horrible schedule, had a losing AFCW record, got ass-raped in the first round of the playoffs, have a huge ? at QB, a second year HC, etc. etc.
I'm not deflecting when I say KC has a long way to go before they have proven they aren't the same shitty team they were over the last decade or so.
