That's the claim, but I think people are getting "too much air" confused with throwing too late. Geno needs to work on his timing on long throws, knowing the EXACT moment to strike. Right now when he's late people see a receiver adjusting to his long ball because the timing is off and they say, "Uhp. Too much air. Ball takes too long to get to the receiver." In reality, Geno just waited too long.

The good news is that part of his game is coachable. He'll get it figured out if he's the perfectionist all his coaches claim he is.

As for throwing across his body on the run, I don't see many of those. I'll have to dig for a video highlight of that. Geno obviously doesn't want to make that throw (what QB really does?) but I assume there are one or two instances over the past two years where he's had to make that throw.

The way it looks, Clay is about to become the new Gatekeeper of Geno Smith college highlights. I'll bet he'll scrounge something up if it exists. Give him time though. He just got all the games downloaded today.
