So you're on board with trashing your top recruit from last season. who also came from one of the two football factories in Kansas City?
The guy wanted to go to Mizzou in the first place, but Mizzou didn't have enough scholarships, so he went to KU. Now you've got a 4* kid from Kansas City who went to KU, had a bad experience, left, wasn't granted his release by Weis, talked publicly about wanting to go to Mizzou, and will likely wind up at a mid-major or DII school.
Does that sound like a winning strategy for the future? I'm sure other coaches won't use this incident to persuade kids against going to KU in the future.
