New GM may mean new offensive and defensive schemes that require different types of players. Remember Gun wanting huge ass WR's and then DV wanting smaller quicker guys? If you want to actually build a team in the modern era your team needs a consistent identity and philosophy.

I'm sorry but this isn't true. We're more than just a QB away from being a super bowl contender. We need a QB, Coach, D-line, and depth.
You're going to keep a guy who hasn't been able to bring in a QB, Coach, D-line, or depth? That doesn't make any sense.
