ours was just opposite
After knowing each other for three weeks, we just ran off and got married and didn't invite anyone from either side of the family. We didn't even take friends along. We told them when we got back.
The funnest part of the whole thing, is she stayed in the car while I went in the Marine barracks and won enough money playing pool to do the deal, with a couple bottles of "Cold Duck" and a room at the Holiday Inn to go along with it.
