They did however have a pay for play like all teams do even your Chiefs.

But you right it was a bullshit witch hunt designed to keep the Saints from playing the Super Bowl in their home stadium. That's all it was.

That being said I hope they knock Alex Smith off his rocker like Kurt Warner. Then he can retire like a little pussy too.
