Yes there is - knowing that you have BOTH! As Hemi Ed said, the new ones drive MUCH better & are reliable as hell and ya don't have to keep F-ING with them to get them to run properly. They're also very easy to maintain. No way I'd take my 68 GT 500 on a road trip, but I've taken my '09 several times. I can blast down the 1320 in the high 10's and drive to the beach in total comfort with cold A/C and my stereo blasting the whole way with absolute peace of mind that nothing on the car is going to break.
