Yeah there have been 2 years he didn't make it to the playoffs. His first '08 and '10.

They made the play-offs every year under Ryan except for '09, when the injury bug hit. They still went 9-7 that year, breaking the franchise's history of never having back to back winning seasons.
They were 11-5 his first year, 2008.
Every play-off game he lost was to the eventual Super Bowl participant (Cardinals, Packers, Giants, 49ers).
