True Story: My girlfriend had a family that lived down the street from her growing up that had a Chimp. They had to take him to a chimp nature reserve and once when they visited their chimp there, a bunch of other ones got out of their pen and mauled the husbands face and genitals off. They had a special about it on dateline or something.

Im thinking this is the same story. Older folks donated their pet Chimp to a reserve. They went to visit him and 2 other males escaped and attacked them. The older man (60) was a linebacker in college, thus not a small man. He said after the attack, which they went for the woman first and he stepped in to defend, that as a large man, he thought he could help. He talked about the futility of his actions. And I think the weird part, was their Chimp was locked up and wanted to come help, but couldnt.
There was a lady in Chicago?? a few years back, that her friend had a chimp. He didnt recognize her because she had a new hairdo. Chimp went crazy.
Crazy= Chimps are like people, social. Whats the worst a person could do? Face, check...bite nose off, gouge out eyes, bite off lips. Mobility, check...chew off hands and feet. Sexuality, check...rip out gentials.
They get to the root of humanity. And take no prisoners.
After hearing about these events, I did some research. Chimps do this, commonly, in the wild to criminals of the group. I don't think they have many crooks in their gang.
