BK - Very important to keep in mind - since moneyline bets play the favorites without giving any type of point advantage, the payoff is much less (if you bet the favorite) if you win. HOWEVER, keep in mind if you expect an underdog to win, the payoff can be huge.

Moneyline bets are not the same as straight bets. If the number is preceded by a minus sign, it represents how much you have to bet to win 100 dollars. If the number is preceded by a plus sign, it represents how much you win if you bet 100 dollars.

Your had 6,084 at the beginning of last week. Your sole bet was 3,000 on the KC Moneyline for -600. That means for you to win 100.00 extra, you have to bet 600.00. You won the bet. The math:

3,000*(100/600) = 500. You then have to pay the house 10% of your winnings, 50.

6,084 + 500 - 50 = 6,534

Your total is correct. I advise playing the moneyline only for three reasons:

1. You don't believe the favorite can beat the point spread, but you think the favorite can win and you want to make a little cash.
2. You want to supplement your favorite on points spread with a little extra cash.
3. You believe the underdog is going to win and you want to win big.

Keep in mind that the differential you bet upon (-600) is unusual. Usually the moneyline is closer to -135 or -150. Since the Chiefs were so heavily favored, your moneyline return was very small.
