A couple of things - you should move that red dot forward a bit. Remember, it's not a scope. As weird as it sounds, you should keep both eyes open when shooting - takes some getting used to. I was taught and shown that by a lieutenant colonel in Air Force security who is a range instructor, BTW - not talking out my ass.
Also, I assume the reticle is big enough that you should be able to put your BUIS back on and have a lower third co-witness (meaning the front sight is visible in the lower third of the viewable area of red dot), which is a good idea if the batteries die or it malfunctions.

And jettison the buttstock. Magpul makes an excellent adjustable that clamps tight. Mako gl shock is also a good selection.
