i was talking to a buddy of mine last night who is a die hard chiefs fan, and he said that, not me, that alex smith was by far the best qb the chiefs could of gotten this offseason, and hes happy with it. And hes one of the more realistic fans out there. It was a no brainer. And has to say something. The chiefs could of had Kolb for Free, Flynn for cheaper, Carson Palmer for less than they gave up, matt hasselbeck for free, a lot of options that know the Andy Reid/ Mike holmgren systems, and they didnt. They over paid for alex smith. That should ring a bell with some angry fans that the NFL has some sort of respect for alex smith.
