If the kid wants to go to DFW, let him go. He might find out in the long run that going to a school in a big city might have too many distractions.
Lawrence has plenty to do for students, and if they want a little more metropolitan night life, Kansas City is close.
I know Lawrence doesn't compare to Manhattan and the surrounding area. We'll have to live with our own inadequacies. I was just reading about the tourism in the surrounding areas and,
