Kolb was obviously a stop gap for EJ and was had for next to nothing, Gabbert is still a young player with upside that they probably assume the new regime can fix, and Palmer is an upgrade as well that was had for next to nothing as well. None of them made long term committments to those QB's like the Chiefs did by trading a 1st.

Buffalo probably went the best route. Get their stop gap guy for a year for peanuts and than turn it over to their 1st round QB. I'd prefer their situation to anyone else that was in the market for a starting QB.
