What happened at the combine behind the scenes?
Smith shows up and is much more athletic than people thought. By all accounts on the day of the combine Smith threw the ball well and the guys on the scene all said he was still the number #1 QB.
SI just had an updated top 40 big board and Smith is outside of the top 20 with an arrow going down. KC apparently didn't even bother to wait until the combine was over to negotiate the Alex Smith trade.
So what the hell happened with Geno that the fans didn't see?
