Oakland is indeed a nasty, dirty, poor city. They can no longer support a major sports franchise.
But Los Angeles? Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Westwood, Beverly Hills, Hollywood Hills, Silverlake, Los Feliz, Hancock Park, Pasadena, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes, Beverly Wood and even DTLA are all far from being "shit holes".
Not to mention Calabasas, Woodland Hills, Canoga Park, Agoura Hills, Encino, Studio City, Burbank, Eagle Rock or Sherman Oaks
