2 straight outings without his breaking ball.
He was able to get by spotting his fastball against Cincy (had absolutely outstanding command of his fastball in that start) but today he hadn't rediscovered his offspeed pitches and didn't have the fastball command he had last time out.
Lead or no lead, he was going to get his head handed to him today. If he doesn't find at least a show-me breaking ball in his next start, he'll get hit around again.
This isn't one of those Kip Wells/Brett Tomko things where he lets down after he gets a lead, he's just way out of sorts right now.
