The blurb on him from sportingnews:
3. Marcus Stroud, Georgia
Ht./Wt.: 6-5/305. 40: 5.00. Grade: 7.4.
Strengths: Has great size, speed and potential. Has the ability to control the line of scrimmage. Uses his hands well to shed blockers and shows tremendous natural strength. Shows outstanding footwork and moves like a defensive end.
Weaknesses: Hasn't reached full potential. Probably has better overall skills than teammate Richard Seymour, but doesn't work as hard. Often fails to stay low and get good leverage on blockers.
Bottom line: Stroud's potential is sky high -- now he needs to work to reach it. He could be the most gifted lineman, but he gets lazy and takes plays off. He has all the tools to dominate against the run and pass. Despite marginal work ethic, Stroud should get drafted in the first round on potential.
Overall he sounds like a young Glock. (take it easy Clint) Sportingnews has him ranked third and on paper sounds like a good pick. My fav would be Shaun Rogers from Texas who's ranked 2nd by Sprtnews.
