Yup. Carl Peterson and Dick Vermeil left the team in shambles. I still can't believe there are still people who want to blame Herm for the shit show that followed.

Herm wasn't a great coach. But among the worst of all time? Ridiculous. Herm was good enough to build an 8-8 team. Which isn't good enough, but it's better than guys like Romeo or Marinelli who couldn't build anything.
