Not really, as vBulletin wasn't hosting terrible people of ChiefsPlanet and defending them, like reddit was with pedos.

They only cracked down on it because of the pressure they got over it. The people that maintained reddit knew their place was a hub to swap child porn for a long while and they seemed to be cool with it.
