Amazon has snagged exclusive rights to sell the "Survival Edition" of Fallout 3. The Survival Edition is basically the entire Collector's Edition, previously seen before, plus a life-sized Pip-Boy 3000 -- just like what's in the game. The exclusive new item functions as a working digital clock and, well, will cost you an extra 50 smackers over the 80 dollar Collector's Edition. Doing the basic arithmetic, that comes out to about $130. The console versions of the Survival Edition will ship only to North America -- no Europe, sorry.
While we can say the Pip-Boy 3000 is certainly an interesting piece to add to one's collection, we're not sure if the price merits a purchase over the other SKUs.
