I think you are right, that they take another QB project to work on behind Kaepernick. Small possibility they just let Colt McCoy and Scott Tolzien duke it out for the backup job, but I'm with you. I think they will add a draft pick to push both those guys in camp.

Jim Harbaugh loves developing project QBs. He needs a pet project to work on in camp. Then when he coaches him up high enough, he can trade him to the Chiefs for a 1st rounder. (Sorry, couldn't help myself... Kidding)

Just don't be surprised if Jim Harbaugh coaches Colt McCoy up into a pretty damn good QB.

That was actually funny but not so funny that it wouldn't happen irl. FML
