Not taking a QB is a bad idea. It's foolish. Unstable. Ill-supported. And those who are of that opinion are wrong.
Opinions are wrong if they can't be backed up, and so far the only argument I've seen for not taking a QB is "what if the QB busts?"

I'm not sure you're a good judge of when an idea is bad and when it's good. You'd better leave that kind of thing to people like me. It can be tricky sometimes.
But seriously, that's not the only argument you've heard for not taking a QB. Unless you've got your fingers in your ears to avoid it, you've heard the argument that none of these QBs are good enough to justify using a #1 overall pick if your criteria for a pick like that is someone you expect to be an elite player. There are a lot of people making that argument, including Mike Mayock. I don't know whether that argument is right or not, but I accept that it's plausible even if you don't.
