Do as my parents did when I was a child and wanted something they couldnt get for me. Leave a note from Santa with his apologies, explaining how the elves ran out of material/balerina outfits/etc. Blame the reindeer for knocking over the "balerina storage shed" and ruinin all the balerina outfits. Anything "personal" from Santa that makes her feel special will do. "Santa" always took a bite out of the cookie I left him and drank 1/2 the milk. Kids eat that stuff up. Trust me on this one.
