There's a lot of blame to go around. I agree that developing a strong club culture is important. The MLS leadership has a responsibility there as well, both to the product they put on the pitch and the respect they show the supporters. If I was out in New England, I think I would have a hard time giving a shit. I did here when Hunt owned the team.
Blaming USMNT supporters for the national team not doing well? I think that's a bit of a logical leap.
But the MLS inferiority complex gets old. You can support your local club while recognizing there are leagues around the world miles beyond where MLS is.
