Choir boys no. But there does seem to be a distinction between most of the conferences and the SEC/Big 10. Hiding child molestation, paying a JC QB $180,000 to win a championship and a system that actively ignored criminal activity in order to win back to back NC's? Come on now. Things run a bit different down there and everyone knows it.
