Yes. Initially, I was hopeful that the Chiefs would trade for Nick Foles because of what it would say about Reid's confidence in Foles. Of course, that would have looked even more like the Pioli/Cassel situation than this does so people would have had a cow over that too. The fact that Reid picked Alex Smith and that reports suggest that he's tried to trade for Smith before tell me that we should at least give the Reid/Smith combo a chance to see what they can do together.
