I've never heard the guy, but from what I read, this will be a pretty massive change.

Hudler has no ties to KC (except, oddly enough, an arrest in KCI airport for possession of MJ), but he is a former player with a ton of broadcasting experience. He was the analyst for the Angels for 8 or 9 years till they decided to not renew his contract a few years ago.

From what people describe, Hudler is basically Frank White's evil twin from bizarro world, a polar opposite. His broadcasting style has been described as very, very enthusiastic and energetic to almost an extreme, to the point where he might be an acquired taste. That might be an odd pairing with Ryan.

We'll see....

If I recall correctly, he might have been one of the broadcasters in MLB the Show for the PS3.
