Celtics fans are pissed because they are in denial that their team is aging. I don't get the Jeff Green move, but in an era where you won a championship, were in two championships, and have been one of the most dangerous postseason teams, it's a little odd that the Jeff Green move is viewed as a fireable offense. This team was built for a short run. That run is over. Only in Boston would people actually be upset at the kind of magnificent run they've had the past 5 years or so.

We aren't in denial at least I am not and that is why Celtics fans are mad at Ainge. The 2010 team was on a roll and playing great team basketball until they traded Perkins for Green. It destroyed a season and a potential last championship for Pierce, Garnett, and Allen.
Also Ainge thought he could get Shaq back playing but everyone knew that wasn't going to happen so it left them with no real front court player outside of Garnett. It was all around stupid.
