It's weird that I've never once met any of the fans you describe, and you haven't met those I describe. We must know totally different people, and have had completely different interactions here. You might be a youngster, but in the 1980s the hate for Nebraska was so strong that many of my co-workers were actively rooting for OU most of those years. You might be too young to remember.


I've known a few people who married KSU girls or guys, and try to be nice by wishing them well. But I've never met one single KU alum who roots for K-State to beat KU. And neither have you.
