1) USF is not a "small school." They were a pretty new program when he went there, yes, but they were in Division I-A for the majority of his career.
2) They weren't in a "small conference." They were independent until the year after he left. Additionally, they BEAT Pitt (a Big East school, in case you're wondering) in 2001, and went 9-2 in 2002.
I ****ing hate USF (because they're a worthless, shithole school in Tampa that got included in the Big East because of their location and nothing else), but you don't know shit about them, you don't know shit about Mitchell, and you don't know shit about Scanlon.
