I just need to make sure that she can easily run everything.
My personal advice just based of features and quality at a good price would be to get an Onkyo. I updated my parents home theater and after the initial setup (which Im sure you can do no doubt) they can basically control the entire setup all thru the Onkyo remote for all their devices - with the exception of the roku I got them last xmas. They are technologically toddlers - especially my mom, and after walking her thru it a time or 2 she can access everything and anything she needs to.
