It would be a good gamble for him however. If he wins then his star is off the charts, if he loses in a close fight many will say pound for pound he is probably the better fighter that just stepped up in weight and if he gets pounded most would say "oh well, he stepped up and fought a bigger guy". Losing to Silva wouldn't be a stain to most knowledgeable fight fans. Much more upside than down IMHO. Silva on the other hand has little to gain and a lot to lose in this match up IMO.
