The sweetness issue can be overcome with a bit of honey, so it's not that big of a deal.
I'm very aware of the health detriments of regular peanut butter due to the hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils.

Some brands do have honey. I just never fussed over the oil being perfectly mixed--or mixed at all. Too much work.
So I just scooped under and let it drip off a spoon instead. Over time as the jar had less in it, I may have stirred it a little bit as it can get dry and hard. 'Cause when the jar is new, it gets all over the place. So, I just never fussed over it. So I'm with you there. It can be a pain.
Gonna try the gizmo mentioned earlier tho. I love kitchen gadgets....even if I am out of room.
