Not friends in the manner you speak of, but my wife was born and raised a Raider fan. We have no problems after games. If we did as your friends have done you we might not have kids!
In my younger days I may have been a little short with friends of other NFL teams, but growing up virtually everyone in town were Chiefs fans if they were NFL fans at all. In the military you had a wide mix and the worst we got from them was a hearty **** you after the game, next day was business as usual.
Give your friends a couple of months, maybe they will chill out and realize that you weren't personally responsible for their team sucking swamp water.
