(I will say that consumer reports rated the $450 vitamix 5200 just slightly below this ninja, so it's almost as good.)

Blendtec and Vitamix blenders come with a seven year warranty. The ninja has a one year warranty.

Says something about each manufacturer's expected life of the products they sell.
