Same here. I think a big part of Ruffalo's Hulk being better is the fact both the Banner/Hulk characters were written more to the modern storyline. He did a perfect job of playing a more cynical and angry Banner.

I thought Thor was the sleeper of the Marvel movies. I went in expecting a C- effort and felt like I got a B+ action flick.

I guess a big reason why I did enjoy it might have been my super low expectations. Due to not really liking the character I didn't pick it apart like I would a Hulk, X-Men, or other comix flick...
