Mellinger did a nice job of explaining that the situation is being overblown. Added context for the fact that Quinn was entering at the same time.

Reporter from ATL ended the segment by tactfully blasting the hyperbole and hypocrisy of "outrage," noting how a much worse incident occurred in OAK in 1980, when the QB at the time broke his leg, triggering the start of the Plunkett run.
