It's slowly changing, but it definitely seems like there's more parity these days. Two 15 seeds won in the same tournament, and only 4 previous 15s had ever won a game. UConn went .500 in the Big East and won the NC against Butler. Sure, there was Villanova in '85 and Kansas in '88, and there are always 5/12 upsets, etc.... but, I'd be interested to see research on it, since the past few years have seemed crazier than normal. Like I said though, there's still plenty of good basketball being played, and some parity doesn't hurt anything.
He's also a fan of an SEC team, and if all games ended like their last one, he'd have a point.
