Adams gets a chance to play and he takes advantage of it. We don't have enough home runs being hit by this team. We need Adams.

That means in 2014 Craig has to go to RF. Beltran moves on in the off season. Taveras plays CF. There is no way that Taveras's defensive play in CF will be so much worse than Jay that it negates having Adams bat in the lineup.
