If you want. Im not sure at what point you want to include, work ethic, mental stability, leadership qualities into your equation of needing to find ways to make excuses. And me stating that in reality talking about anything prior to Jim Harbaugh, and more importantly Trent Baalke, and Jed York assuming leadership in the 49ers front office, is far more relevant and probably more indicitive of future production from alex smith, than anything prior.

I didnt understand it before as in last offseason, i dont understand it now.

Alex Showed that under solid coaching, and the 49ers showed under a great front office that they can be productive. So why anyone would try to hold prior to that against anyone is beyond me. But having been through all of this, the good and the bad before, i can see your frustration. I just dont agree with it.
