After the second book I said I was going to wait until the entire series was published before I kept reading. That lasted exactly 1 week. Then I picked up the third book. This thing is just too good.

Don't deny yourself. I encourage you to read. The wait between will be hell, but the story is good enough, and dense enough to hold. You can read them multiple times and still miss some amazing details.

Plus, like LOST, each previous book takes on new meaning with each new book. There are a lot of hints and references to future (and past) events in each book that you can't catch (or even realize are references) until you've read the next installment.

The more I've been reading up on these things, the more I realize I've missed. This guy is a better writer than I gave him credit for, and I gave him A LOT of credit. He is very careful with his words. His language is completely intentional. I thought these books were a little over padded. But maybe not. It might all be necessary. Anyway...

There's a lot going on.
