You are really reaching here. First of all, lebron had some very good teams in Cleveland. The team he took to the finals was stacked defensively and had a deep bench of solid role players. Secondly, lebron is partially to blame for lacking a supporting cast. Jordan and Kobe got their superstars because they committed to their team. Lebron had the opportunity to court teammates. In Miami, he courted battier, Nash, etc.... In Cleveland, he didn't even try to get anyone. And no player knew if lebron was going to stay so they steered away from Cleveland.
But most of all, you're nuts if you don't think the decision is going to weigh big time on his legacy. The story will remain that lebron couldn't win a championship by his own means, so he had to form an artificial superpower to do it. It's the arod narrative. This championship certainly helps his legacy. But the decision will always out him in a distant class from the greats.

We have had this argument many times over but those Cleveland teams were Lebron and 4 scrubs. He didn't even have a Top 25 player on that team outside of himself.
Also IIRC Lebron wanted the team to trade for Amare Stoudemaire and they ended up with shitty Antawan Jamison plus during that FA period before he left he did try to get Wade or Bosh to come to Cleveland and neither wanted to.
