The NFL is a business where owners get some really, really cooshy benefits. Most corporations have to pay for their property and to build a headquarters or factory. Owners don't have to. In fact, they can bully taxpayers to replace a perfectly functioning stadium with a new stadium that does nothing more but allow the owner to charge more per ticket. Most corporations have to pay their employees a wage based on what an employee is worth. NFL owners get to set a cap on how much their players get paid, even though they could easily be paid more.

I'd have to agree with the article here. If the NFL is going to reap that much out of taxpayers and has the power and authority to artificially lower player salaries, then we have a right to scrutinize how much these guys make.
