Because Tulo is not without risk, first off.

Second off, because Matt Adams would be a 30-40 HR 1b in Coors. He'd be a freakin' monster out there, IMO.

The worst years of Tulo's deal are coming soon so they may want to be rid of it. They may also see a chance go get a legitimate mauler at 1b to replace Helton and a 2-3 WAR 2b thrown in to boot.

And like I said, if they came back and requested an arm, I'd still consider it. Not if they're asking for Miller, Lynn, Rosenthal or Martinez, but if they come looking for Wacha with the other 2? Yeah, I probably pull the trigger.
